Hive Lighting Chimera Lantern Softbox with Skirt (30”)

Ideal for use on a boom to simulate overhead light in a club atmosphere or to brighten the ambient light level, the 30ʺ HIVE Lantern Softbox with Skirt by Chimera has a spherical design which provides omni-directional light that can be modified via the included skirt to allow you to block one or two sides of the lantern.

Lantern Softboxes are used by still photographers, filmmakers and videographers, for illuminating entire rooms with soft, even light. Choose a Chimera Lantern Softbox according to the size of the room, and your working light fixture.

This lantern softbox comes with a black skirt, which acts as a gobo, and provides more directional control of the light output from your fixture.

Required Speed (mounting) Rings are available separately for your light fixture.

Use this size for casting omni-directional lighting for a medium-sized conference room, or for adding accent lighting in a larger room.
